PHASE 4: Capture New Footage

Scheduled November-January 2017 & June 2018


In this phase, we will capture footage that was missed and get replacement footage for things we wished looked better (in season)


Here is a short list of the shots & data we'll be capturing.

PART 1:  Introduction

This will provide your viewers high-level information about your property.

  • Beautiful, restful community
  • Near two cities
  • National Parks (namely beautiful Kolob Canyon)
  • The current script reads: 

Nestled in a quiet pocket of Southern Utah is one of the most beautiful secrets in the historic town of New Harmony.  Surrounded by the awe-inspiring peaks of Pine Mountain & Kolob Canyon, the town of New Harmony make it a peaceful, protected area to live and raise a family.  Deer Hollow Ranch is less than 30 minutes from Cedar City & St. George.

The average rainfall is 18.22 inches per year.  The average snowfall, 38 inches.  Making Deer Hollow an oasis for wildlife.

Less than 15 minutes away is one of Utah’s most stunning national parks.

PART 2:  Welcome to Deer Hollow Ranch

After a short introduction, the video currently shows establishing, serene shots of your ranch.

  • On the bottom of the video will show some general facts about the ranch.
  • What are the features/facts you’d like them to know in the beginning?

This will information set the stage for the rest of the video.

PART 3:  Alpalpha/Feed 

We understand we’ll need to reshoot these shots during peak season (June).

The shot list will be as follows:

  • Establishing shot, flying over pivot/field toward Kolob Canyon
  • Green, lush field, untouched
  • Ariel shot of machine cutting down field (multiple shots from different angles)
  • Aerial shot of field after it has been cut down.
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of field (days later) when bailer begins work.
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of field with hay bails
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of hay bail pickup
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of transportation of hay bail to barn
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of hay being delivered at barn
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of barn empty & then full/being filled with hay
  • Aerial shot (pulling out) of hay barn with

PART 4:  Pasture 

We understand we’ll need to reshoot these shots during peak season (June).

  • Eye-level shots of livestock (various grazing & watering shots)
  • Eye-level shots of herding cattle from one field to the next
  • Eye-level shot of cattle & calf’s
  • Aerial & eye-level shots of cattle in fields
  • Show different lots if possible
  • FACT CARD:  we’ll have a visual sharing facts on your pastures

PART 5:  Manger 

We will film the manger during fall, winter, spring and summer seasons.  We’ll rely on your tips on when to shoot and things you feel are worthy of highlighting.

  • Aerial & eye-level shots of manger
  • Eye-level shots of ranch workers working in & around manger

 PART 9: Livestock   

In this section, we’d like to focus on all the livestock-related content.

This content can be woven into each chapter as appropriate, or you can dedicate a section to buildings by themselves.

Buildings & structures may include the following:

  • Cattle barn(s)
  • Sheds
  • Shop
  • Other?

 PART 11: Machines   

You may, or may not, want to include machines in your video.  We just want to make sure we capture them if desired.
